On October 10-11, 2025, the traditional annual event - the Scientific and Practical Conference of Ophthalmologists, Pediatric Ophthalmologists and Optometrists of Ukraine with International Participation "Refraction Plein Air'25" was held at the capital's International Congress Center "Ukrainian House".
The conference was held in an offline format with a parallel online broadcast. This year, it brought together 2,214 participants and more than 400 speakers from Ukraine, Canada, Great Britain, the USA, Australia, South Africa, Greece, India. Reports by well-known Ukrainian and foreign scientists and specialists concerned, in particular, the following key topics:

Three master classes were held as part of the plein air, dedicated to the strategy of successful selection of toric lenses; diagnostics, correction and orthoptic treatment of strabismus; control of myopia and an individual approach to its treatment.
There were also plenary lectures, satellites, discussion panels, meetings of young ophthalmologists of Ukraine, an exhibition of works of art by Ukrainian ophthalmologists and optometrists "The Art of Seeing", award ceremonies for the Second Prize for Research Works of Young Scientists, the N. I. Pilman Medal and the Archangel Raphael Medal.
The company "Visus Pharm" became one of the general partners of the event, and also took part in the exhibition of modern ophthalmological equipment and drugs from leading companies in Ukraine and the world. At the "Visus Pharm" stand, doctors had the opportunity to get acquainted with the company's products in more detail, talk to its employees, and ask them questions.
As always, the open-air event was distinguished by a high organizational level, scale, creativity, unique Ukrainian hospitality, and an interesting cultural program. The participants greatly enjoyed the lively professional communication about pressing problems and challenges of the industry, the exchange of experience in the practical application of the latest technologies and methods of modern medicine, and expressed their hope to traditionally meet again next year.
