On June 5–6, the Visus Pharm team took part in the scientific and practical conference on ophthalmology “Podillya Retina 2026”, which took place in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The two-day event was dedicated to topical issues of diagnostics and treatment of diseases of the retina, optic nerve, as well as intraocular correction. The key focus of the conference was aimed at an in-depth discussion of myopia as one of the most complex and at the same time insufficiently studied visual pathologies, which has many “white spots” in the mechanisms of development, course and prognosis. In particular, lectures and reports concerned such pressing problems as genetic aspects of myopia, the modern paradigm of myopia correction, features of glaucoma surgery in myopic eyes, retinal complications in eyes with high myopia, changes in the principles and approaches of combat trauma surgery over the four years of the war.
"Podillya Retina 2026" was held in an expanded and interactive format. In addition to the scientific part (51 speakers), the conference included meaningful retina battles, a film festival, a retinal Olympiad, master classes, as well as discussion clubs, which created an optimal space for live communication, exchange of ideas and professional growth.
The participants received a maximum of useful information, practical knowledge, new ideas and real pleasure from participating in the conference, which unites the professional community in the search for the best practical solutions.
