Sterile, lubricating, moisturizing, protective antioxidant eye drops, without preservatives, which facilitate the process of re-epithelialization.

 

Cobayal is a sterile water-based hydrogel containing hyaluronic acid, sorbitol, glycerin and cyanocobalamin, intended for instillation into eye tissues. Thanks to its lubricating, moisturizing, viscoelastic, mucoadhesive, protective and antioxidant effects, it promotes the re-epithelization of the mucous membrane of the eyes. The concentrations of these substances have been specifically studied to ensure that the obtained characteristics of the hydrogel will be similar to those of the tear fluid without causing blurred vision. The presence of glycerin promotes the removal of water from the tissues of the eye (hydrating effect), which is absorbed into the polymer network of sodium hyaluronate, forming a thin moisturizing and protective film with viscoelastic properties.

 

Please note that cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12), included in the composition, thanks to its antioxidant and antidegenerative properties, protects eye tissues from the aggressive effects of cellular lipid peroxidases.

 

Thanks to the properties of its components, COBAYAL eye drops protect eye tissues from the effects of oxidative stress caused by traumatic environmental factors (intense solar or artificial radiation, radiation from computer screens, smoke, air conditioners, mechanical stress caused by contact lenses) and facilitates the restoration of their natural trophism epithelium

 

Cobayal is a water-based colloidal liquid characterized by the following chemical and physical properties:

 

- It is completely transparent and pink due to the presence of vitamin B12;

 

- Its pink color is not absorbed by contact lenses;

 

- It can be mixed with tear fluid in all proportions;

 

- It has parameters of pH, viscosity, osmolarity, which are perfectly compatible with eye tissues and tear fluid, and therefore has a high degree of tolerance.

 

Composition: sodium hyaluronate 0.150%, cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 0.010%, sorbitol, glycerin, disodium edetate, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium chloride, purified water.

 

Method of use: instill 1-2 drops of the solution into the lower conjunctival arch of the eye, slightly squeezing the bottle.

 

It is recommended to repeat 2-3 times a day or more often, if necessary, no longer than 30 days in a row.

 

Precautions: Given the absence of quaternary ammonium salts, Cobayal can be used by persons who wear contact lenses;

 

- do not touch the eye with the tip of the dropper;

 

- do not use for eye infections;

 

- do not use together with other eye drops;

 

– do not use the components in case of known incompatibility with any drug;

 

- do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package;

 

- do not use the product if the original packaging is damaged;

 

- drops must be used within 56 days from the moment of opening the bottle.
