PRESERVATIVE-FREE LUBRICATING EYE OINTMENT
VITAMIN A, CHAMOMILE AND CALENDULA EXTRACTS
SOOTHING EFFECT AND LONG-LASTING RELIEF OF DRY EYES

Ingredients: vitamin A palmitate (25,000 IU/100 g), chamomile (Matricaria recutita (German chamomile), liposoluble extract), calendula (Calendula officinalis (pot marigold), liposoluble extract), lanolin, mineral oil, white petrolatum.
What is it?
HydraMed Night is a preservative-free eye ointment containing vitamin A and plant extracts of chamomile and calendula.
What is the dosage form?
HydraMed Night is presented as a preservative-free ophthalmic ointment in a 5 g tube.
When should it be used?
The product provides long-lasting relief from the effects of dry eye(s) caused by mild irritation, burning, and redness due to environmental factors (wind, sun, dry air, salt water, smoke, bright light), prolonged visual strain (studying, reading, computer use, night driving), or the use of contact lenses. It helps restore the physiological state of the tear film and protects the eye surface due to the lubricating and moisturizing properties of vitamin A.
The presence of liposoluble extracts of chamomile and calendula as carrier agents helps create a pleasant feeling of freshness and comfort.
How much should be used?
Wash your hands and remove the cap from the tube, tilt your head back and pull down the lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pouch. Gently squeeze the tube until a 10 mm strip of product is applied to the lower eyelid. Blink two or three times to evenly distribute the ointment over the eye, and remove any excess ointment around the eyelids with a clean tissue. Close the cap on the tube.
Due to its consistency, the ointment may cause slight and temporary blurred vision; therefore, it is recommended to apply it once daily in the evening before bedtime.
Warnings and precautions
• The product is intended for external ophthalmic use only.
• Do not use if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.
• After application, slight temporary blurred vision may occur due to the oily consistency of the ointment: it is advisable to avoid use before any activity requiring clear vision (driving, operating machinery, etc.).
• Do not wear contact lenses while using the product; at least 30 minutes should pass after application before reinserting lenses.
• In case of concomitant use of HydraMed Night and other ophthalmic products, at least 30 minutes should elapse between applications, and HydraMed Night should be applied last.
• Discard the tube 90 days after first opening.
• Avoid touching the tip of the tube to eyelashes or eyes.
• Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the package.
• The duration of use is 30 days. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.
• In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, or pediatric use, it is advisable to consult a doctor.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use if the tube is damaged.
• Store at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C.
• Do not swallow.
